{"id":62679,"date":"2019-03-20T01:31:20","date_gmt":"2019-03-19T20:01:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=62679"},"modified":"2019-03-20T01:31:20","modified_gmt":"2019-03-19T20:01:20","slug":"national-seminar-at-rgu-concludes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/03\/20\/national-seminar-at-rgu-concludes\/","title":{"rendered":"National seminar at RGU concludes"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Researchers advised to study state&#8217;s biodiversity<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>RONO HILLS, Mar 19:<\/strong> The two-day national seminar on &#8216;India\/NE India: Issues, dynamics &amp; emerging realities&#8217;, organized by the Rajiv Gandhi University Research Scholars&#8217; Forum (RGURSF) in collaboration with the Arunachal Institute of Tribal Studies, concluded here on Tuesday.<br \/>\nAddressing the valedictory function, NIT Director Prof Pinakeswar Mahanta urged the research scholars to study Arunachal&#8217;s rich biodiversity, so that the state&#8217;s flora and fauna may be used for establishing resourceful startups.<br \/>\n&#8220;The different kinds of bamboo found in this region can provide an opportunity to kick-start careers,&#8221; Prof Mahanta said.<br \/>\n&#8220;Don&#8217;t look for jobs, look for a career, because getting a degree is not enough; you should be employed,&#8221; he told the research scholars.<br \/>\nRGU&#8217;s Political Science HoD, Prof PK Panigrahi, in his speech focused on issues and challenges faced by the researchers.<br \/>\n&#8220;Give your research proper shape by making your work worthy of study,&#8221; Prof Panigrahi said, and advised the researchers to avoid plagiarism.<br \/>\n&#8220;Anti-academic writing style, like plagiarism, should be avoided.
