{"id":63007,"date":"2019-03-28T00:26:31","date_gmt":"2019-03-27T18:56:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=63007"},"modified":"2019-03-28T00:26:31","modified_gmt":"2019-03-27T18:56:31","slug":"eac-passes-away-death-mourned","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/03\/28\/eac-passes-away-death-mourned\/","title":{"rendered":"EAC passes away, death mourned"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Mar 27:<\/strong> Jumte Jini, who was serving as the extra assistant commissioner (EAC) of Kaying in Siang district, passed away on 25 March in Dibrugarh in Assam.<br \/>\nA native of Biru village in West Siang district, Jini had joined service in 1984 as a peon in the education department. He was later selected as an LDC, and then promoted to the post of an assistant.<br \/>\nHe was eventually appointed as a circle officer through lateral entry in 1997, and had been posted at Namsai, Payum\/Tato, Bameng, Sagalee, Yingkiong, Pangin, Kaying, etc.<br \/>\nHe is survived by his wife, two daughters and two sons.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, the Nyiko Pangii Society, Itanagar (NPSI) has deeply mourned Jini&#8217;s untimely demise.<br \/>\n&#8220;For the people of Nyiko-Bango (three villages -Logum Jini, Biru and Eyi) his untimely demise is an irreparable loss. His narrative as a self-made man who worked his way up from a humble beginning to the level of a senior administrative officer through perseverance and hard work has been huge source of inspiration for the youths,&#8221; said NPSI general secretary Marli Ingo.<br \/>\nDescribing Jini as &#8220;a straightforward and down-to-earth man who was loved by both his colleagues and juniors,&#8221; the Ingo termed his death a great loss to the society and the state.<br \/>\nGovernment officers and staffs of Siang district have also mourned the demise of Jini and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Mar 27: Jumte Jini, who was serving as the extra assistant commissioner (EAC) of Kaying in Siang district, passed away on 25 March in Dibrugarh in Assam.
