{"id":63010,"date":"2019-03-28T00:26:56","date_gmt":"2019-03-27T18:56:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=63010"},"modified":"2019-03-28T00:26:56","modified_gmt":"2019-03-27T18:56:56","slug":"ffa-to-host-6th-arunachal-film-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/03\/28\/ffa-to-host-6th-arunachal-film-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"FFA to host 6th Arunachal Film Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Staff Reporter<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Mar 27:<\/strong> The Film Federation of Arunachal (FFA) has announced that the 6th edition of the Arunachal Film Festival will be held here on 20 and 21 April.<br \/>\nThe two-day event is being organized by the FFA in collaboration with the information &amp; public relations (IPR) department.<br \/>\nAddressing a press conference at the Arunachal Press Club on Wednesday, FFA general secretary Shambo Flago informed that this year too, the festival will feature a competition in the short film category.<br \/>\nHe said the short films would have to be of a maximum duration of five minutes, and on the theme, &#8216;Social burning issues of Arunachal&#8217;.<br \/>\n&#8220;The first two winners of the short film competition will be awarded trophies, citations, and a cash award of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 75,000, respectively,&#8221; he informed.<br \/>\nBesides the short film competition, the best feature and documentary films will be selected from among the entries, and will be given cash award of Rs 2 lakhs and Rs 1 lakh, respectively.<br \/>\n&#8220;The last date for submission of the short films is 15 April, while 13 April is the last date for submission of documentary and feature films,&#8221; Flago informed.<br \/>\nThe entries will have to be submitted at the &#8216;video section&#8217; of the IPR department in Naharlagun.
