However, Yaram&#8217;s candidature was rejected during a hearing on the matter.<br \/>\nThe counsel said they opposed the rejection of her nomination paper under subject Clause 6.9.1 of the ERO book as it has &#8220;insufficient substantial character to disqualify or reject her nomination as per ERP book as the ERO\/RO can only reject the nomination paper under Article 84, 102, 173 and 191 of the constitution of India and Part III of Part II of the RP Act, 1951.&#8221;<br \/>\nAccordingly, the counsel said, Yaram on Thursday sought a review of the rejection passed by the RO on 27 March.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff Reporter ITANAGAR, Mar 28: Janata Dal (United) candidate for the Yachuli legislative assembly seat, Toko Yaram, has filed a complaint with the state&#8217;s election commission over the rejection of her candidature.
