The top position in Class 9 examination has also been secured by a girl student, according a release issued by the secondary education directorate.<br \/>\nPasum Riba and Mari Basar, both from GHSS Basar, Lepa Rada, secured the top two positions in the humanities stream, while Mum Perme of GHSS Mebo in East Siang secured the third position.<br \/>\nWhile Pasum topped the examination with 463 marks (92.6%) Mari scored 457 (91.4%) marks to bag the second position.<br \/>\nMum secured 435 marks (87%).<br \/>\nIn the commerce stream, Apsana Khaton of GHSS Basar topped with 439 marks (87.8%).<br \/>\nTwo students from GHSS Roing in Lower Dibang Valley district secured the second and third positions.<br \/>\nWhile Prabin Agarwala secured the second position with 412 (82.4%) marks, Paras Moni Chetry got the third position with 406 (81.2%) marks.<br \/>\nNangran Karo of GHSS Naharlagun in Papum Pare district secured the top position in the science stream with 451 marks (90.2%).<br \/>\nJushnita Gomango of GHSS, IGJ Pasighat, East Siang, and Sahil Hussain of GHSS Roing secured the second and third position, respectively.<br \/>\nWhile Gomango scored 441 marks (88.2%), Hussain secured 437 marks (87.4%).<br \/>\nBeton Takuk of GHSS Yingkiong, Upper Siang, topped the Class 9 examination with 447 marks (89.4%).<br \/>\nThe second and the third positions were bagged by Tatung Tadam of GSS, P Colony, Itanagar, and Biswajit Mitra of GSS Wakro, Lohit.<br \/>\nTadam scored 436 marks (87.2%), while Mitra scored 432 marks (86.4%).<br \/>\nA total of 20736 students had appeared in Class 9 examination, and 11915 have cleared it, recording a pass percentage of 57.46.<br \/>\nIn Class 11, 7242 students out of the total of 9572 have cleared the examination with a pass percentage of 75.66.<br \/>\nThe state board examination was conducted from 8 to 27 February for the students of all the government schools of the state.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Apr 1: Girls outshone the boys in the Arunachal Pradesh State Board (internal) examination for the students of Classes 9 and 11, the results of which were declared on Monday.
