{"id":64207,"date":"2019-04-10T01:44:56","date_gmt":"2019-04-09T20:14:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=64207"},"modified":"2019-04-10T01:44:56","modified_gmt":"2019-04-09T20:14:56","slug":"aceo-clarifies-after-villagers-threaten-to-boycott-polls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/04\/10\/aceo-clarifies-after-villagers-threaten-to-boycott-polls\/","title":{"rendered":"ACEO clarifies after villagers threaten to boycott polls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>[ Nellie N Manpoong ]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Apr 9:<\/strong> Following reports that some villagers of Bagjam in Pipsorang circle of Kra Daadi district are boycotting the simultaneous assembly and Lok Sabha elections, Additional Chief Electoral Officer (ACEO) Kaling Darang informed that there is a set of procedures which has to be followed for establishing a polling station.<br \/>\nThe polling station for Bagjam village is in Lukbia village, which the villagers claimed is some 8 kms away.<br \/>\nThe ACEO informed that there are 28 polling stations in the Tali assembly constituency, with the Lukbia polling station having 537 voters from Lukbia, Hania and Bagjam villages.<br \/>\nWhile Lukbia has 163 voters, Hania has 257 voters.
