{"id":65182,"date":"2019-04-22T01:15:00","date_gmt":"2019-04-21T19:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=65182"},"modified":"2019-04-22T01:22:11","modified_gmt":"2019-04-21T19:52:11","slug":"nefa-1953-sweeps-awards-at-aff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/04\/22\/nefa-1953-sweeps-awards-at-aff\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018NEFA 1953\u2019 sweeps awards at AFF"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Apr 21:<\/strong> The makers of NEFA 1953 went home with the highest number of awards in the state\u2019s first film award ceremony, held during the closing ceremony of the 6th Arunachal Film Festival (AFF) at the Dree ground here on Sunday.<br \/>\nEarlier, Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) Vice Chancellor Prof Saket Kushwaha congratulated the Film Federation of Arunachal (FFA) for the successful conduct of the event and offered to work together with the federation in organizing \u2018Borderland Narratives\u2019, the university\u2019s<br \/>\nindependent film festival.<br \/>\nAlso underscoring the potential of films in changing the mindset of the society, Prof Kushwaha advocated having a \u201cfilm city\u201d in the state to facilitate filmmakers in the state in highlighting social issues which need to be discussed.<br \/>\nFFA president Hali Welly said, \u201cThe federation is hosting the state\u2019s first film award ceremony to recognize the hard work and creativity of filmmakers and artists in the state, which had been denied to them for long.\u201d<br \/>\nHe said the FFA would pursue the state government for preparing a \u201cstate film policy,\u201d incorporating the inputs discussed during the panel discussion on film tourism and policy on the first day of the festival.<br \/>\nAttending the ceremony, Capital SP Tumme Amo congratulated the winners and suggested taking up documentary film projects to highlight safety and security issues.<br \/>\nWinners\u2019 list:<br \/>\nBest director: Tapen Natam (NEFA 1953)<br \/>\nBest actor lead (male): Subu Gambo (Oha&#8230; e)<br \/>\nBest actor lead (female): Anna Taying (NEFA 1953)<br \/>\nBest DoP: Topan Rimo (Jeevan ek Sangharsh)<br \/>\nBest editor: Taba Shekar (NEFA 1953)<br \/>\nBest music: Zerchi Mosobi &amp; Karke Ragi (NEFA 1953)<br \/>\nBest negative role (male): Dr Techi Upen Tara (NEFA 1953)<br \/>\nBest supporting role (male): Rana Konia (NEFA 1953)<br \/>\nBest supporting role (female): Tage Monya (NEFA 1953)<br \/>\nBest comic role (female): Pissa Somina (Jeevan ek Sangharsh)<br \/>\nBest comic role (male): Phassang Tatap (Jeevan ek Sangharsh)<br \/>\nBest playback singer (male): Subu Gambo (Oha&#8230;e)<br \/>\nBest playback singer (female): Narang Yangha (Oha&#8230;e)<br \/>\nBest short film: Vanishing Roots; runner-up: Voiceless<br \/>\nBest documentary: Blowin\u2019 in the wind<br \/>\nBest feature film: NEFA 1953<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Apr 21: The makers of NEFA 1953 went home with the highest number of awards in the state\u2019s first film award ceremony, held during the closing ceremony of the 6th Arunachal Film Festival (AFF) at the Dree ground here on Sunday.
