{"id":65525,"date":"2019-04-26T01:00:27","date_gmt":"2019-04-25T19:30:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=65525"},"modified":"2019-04-26T01:00:27","modified_gmt":"2019-04-25T19:30:27","slug":"ayush-depts-aap-approved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/04\/26\/ayush-depts-aap-approved\/","title":{"rendered":"AYUSH dept&#8217;s AAP approved"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Traditional healers should be given recognition: CS <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Apr 25:<\/strong> Considering the free health services provided by the traditional healers in Arunachal, Chief Secretary Satya Gopal said &#8220;they should be given proper recognition and credit by the authority concerned for their selfless service to humanity.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe CS said this during the meeting of the Arunachal Pradesh AYUSH Society here on Wednesday to finalize the state&#8217;s annual action plan (AAP) 2019-20 under the National AYUSH Mission.<br \/>\nThe meeting was attended by Principal Health Secretary Dr AC Verma, PCCF Rabindra Kumar, Finance Secretary YW Ringu, Health Secretary Juhi Mukherjee, Health Services Director Dr M Lego, and officers from the agriculture and horticulture departments.<br \/>\nGopal reviewed the details of the AAP, and stressed on proper evaluation and assessment of the training components.<br \/>\nSupporting the need for regular training of ASHAs and ANMs, the CS called for devising &#8220;an evaluation and assessment format to measure the productivity of the trainings.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;The formats should be devised in a manner where the feedbacks from both the trainers and trainees are obtained,&#8221; he added.<br \/>\nExpressing alarm at the high rate of cancer cases in the state, Gopal urged the health department to conduct cancer awareness camps regularly.<br \/>\n&#8220;We should invite master trainers from the government of India, and institutes like the AIIMS,&#8221; he said.<br \/>\nThe CS also suggested that the AYUSH department should conduct health camps during Sarkar Aapke Dwar camps.<br \/>\nThe participants later approved the state&#8217;s AAP 2019-20, presented by AYUSH Deputy Director Dr Dusu Laji, for onward submission to the Centre.
