\nDAPORIJO, Oct 25:<\/strong> The All Tagin Students’ Union (ATSU) celebrated its 28th foundation day with literacy competitions among schools in the district at Daporijo recently.
\nInaugurating the programme, Deputy Commissioner Danish Ashraf encouraged the students’ community to work hard to achieve their goals.
\nFurther, the ATSU submitted a four-point memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner seeking creation of an additional higher secondary school in the town; immediate renovation of dilapidated condition of the higher secondary school; early construction of infrastructure for the Degree College at Jeram village and immediate posting of lecturers for English and Hindi subjects at the District Institute of Education and Training.<\/p>\n
