\nThe AAPSU said that one of its long pending demands has been fulfilled, while adding that it was a monumental decision on part of the state government that shall go a long way in revamping the dismal education sector of the state.
\nThe Union meanwhile called upon the state government to overhaul in the Department of Library as well, which it said has been overlooked and neglected.
\nIt further hoped the Union’s demand for Regular Director of NERIST shall materialize soon.
\nThe Arunachal Teachers’ Association (ATA) has also lauded the State Cabinet’s decision and said that the move will bolster the school Education Department in fulfilling the requisite subject teachers and fill up the vacuum that existed for many years.
\nIt further hoped that some pending issues of ATA’s charter of demands, such as modification of TGT RR and the issues pertaining to SSA teachers will be addressed soon.<\/p>\n
