As per the guidelines of the special initiative, Namsai has become eligible for a one-time additional allocation of Rs 3 crore, in the form of untied fund.<br \/>\nThe district has been asked by the NITI Aayog to prepare a plan of action in<br \/>\nconsultation with the state and central prabhari officers of Namsai, and to send the plan to the NITI Aayog, along with their recommendations, within a fortnight.<br \/>\nThe empowered committee of secretaries constituted for the aspirational district programme will further consider the plan of action for approval.<br \/>\nDeputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein tweeted congratulations and complimented the Namsai district administration and officers of the education department on the achievement.<br \/>\nHe urged them to work with more enthusiasm &#8220;to bring more such results for the betterment of the district in particular and the state as a whole.&#8221; (DCMO)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Jun 22: Namsai district has secured the first rank in education among the 117 aspirational districts in the country.
