{"id":70489,"date":"2019-06-24T01:25:10","date_gmt":"2019-06-23T19:55:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=70489"},"modified":"2019-06-24T01:25:10","modified_gmt":"2019-06-23T19:55:10","slug":"girl-students-with-special-needs-receive-stipends","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/06\/24\/girl-students-with-special-needs-receive-stipends\/","title":{"rendered":"Girl students with special needs receive stipends"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Jun 23:<\/strong> Eighty-three girl students with special needs were provided with stipends @ Rs 2000 per year under the inclusive education programme in a function organized by the capital complex DDSE on 21 June.<br \/>\nIn her address, DDSE Mallo Yam Gollo described it as a &#8220;red-letter day in the history of the education department&#8221; as it was the first programme organized in the state to disburse stipends to girls with special needs.<br \/>\nGollo encouraged children with special needs (CWSN), saying &#8220;they are important members of the society and should be role models for others.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe DDSE also urged parents to extend cooperation for effective implementation of the schemes for CWSN under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.<br \/>\nEarlier, State Project Officer for Inclusive Education, Techi Pratap, highlighted the government&#8217;s endeavours in developing the state&#8217;s education sector.
