{"id":71123,"date":"2019-07-02T01:33:45","date_gmt":"2019-07-01T20:03:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=71123"},"modified":"2019-07-02T01:33:45","modified_gmt":"2019-07-01T20:03:45","slug":"workshop-on-design-thinking-and-ideation-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/07\/02\/workshop-on-design-thinking-and-ideation-held\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop on &#8216;design thinking and ideation&#8217; held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Jul 1:<\/strong> The Innovation Hub of the Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre (APSC) at IG Park here organized a &#8216;Design thinking and ideation workshop&#8217; for school students on Monday.<br \/>\nAbout a hundred students participated in the workshop, which featured, among other things, &#8216;lateral thinking and ideation exercises.&#8217;<br \/>\nThe students were explained the &#8216;process of problem identification, problem defining, brainstorming and generation of ideas, and then the evaluation of the ideas.&#8217;<br \/>\nThe National Innovation Foundation&#8217;s (NIF) NE regional coordinator Dr Nitin Maurya was the resource person.<br \/>\nAddressing the students, Science &amp; Technology Director CD Mungyak emphasized on &#8220;creativity and innovative thinking,&#8221; and invited all students to be members of the innovation hub &#8220;and convert their innovative ideas into prototypes and products.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;The APSC and the NIF have joined hands to promote original, creative ideas of students and other grassroots innovators from the state,&#8221; he said.<br \/>\nInnovation Hub chief mentor Dr RM Altekar highlighted the activities of the innovation hub, and urged students to make use of the facilities there.<br \/>\nAPSC curator (in-charge) Gem Peri also spoke.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Jul 1: The Innovation Hub of the Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre (APSC) at IG Park here organized a &#8216;Design thinking and ideation workshop&#8217; for school students on Monday.
