{"id":71258,"date":"2019-07-03T02:04:49","date_gmt":"2019-07-02T20:34:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=71258"},"modified":"2019-07-03T02:04:49","modified_gmt":"2019-07-02T20:34:49","slug":"lmca-asst-controller-passes-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/07\/03\/lmca-asst-controller-passes-away\/","title":{"rendered":"LMCA asst controller passes away"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Jul 2:<\/strong> Legal metrology &amp; consumer affairs (LMCA) assistant controller (HQ), Supriyo Chakraborty, passed away at the RK Mission Hospital here on 1 July after a brief illness.<br \/>\nHe is survived by his wife and a son.<br \/>\nChakraborty had joined the LMCA department in 1989, and had served the department for over 30 years.<br \/>\nThe department has deeply mourned his demise, and termed his death a great loss.<br \/>\nIn a condolence message, LMCA Controller Hoktum Ori recalled Chakraborty as a sincere, dedicated and hardworking officer who had been awarded with a commendation certificate by the state government in recognition of his outstanding work.<br \/>\n&#8220;He had also recently published a book titled Consumer Guide Book,&#8221; Ori said.<br \/>\nThe staff of the department observed a two-minute silence in honour of the deceased, and extended condolences to the bereaved family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Jul 2: Legal metrology &amp; consumer affairs (LMCA) assistant controller (HQ), Supriyo Chakraborty, passed away at the RK Mission Hospital here on 1 July after a brief illness.
