{"id":7129,"date":"2017-10-30T00:54:20","date_gmt":"2017-10-29T19:24:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=7129"},"modified":"2017-10-30T00:54:20","modified_gmt":"2017-10-29T19:24:20","slug":"cleanliness-drives-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2017\/10\/30\/cleanliness-drives-held\/","title":{"rendered":"Cleanliness drives held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Oct 29:<\/strong> The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell, Rajiv Gandhi University, under &#8220;Swachhta hi Seva&#8221; campaign launched \u2018Clean and Green Campus\u2019 programme on October 28.<br \/>\nProfessor Kesang Degi, Dean of Student Welfare launched the programme by planting a tree in the NSS Park cum Living Museum.<br \/>\nAround 85 NSS volunteers and faculty members actively participated in the cleanliness drive.<br \/>\nUnder this programme, cleanliness drives will be organized in all departments, administrative branches, hostels, health centre and staff colonies for a month and the cleanest compound will be awarded.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, the Nepali Sanskriti Suraksha Parishad (NSSP) East Siang and Pasighat Municipal Council jointly organized a mass cleanliness drive from fish market area to judicial jail, Pasighat on Sunday.<br \/>\nThe PMC provided vehicles for lifting garbage.<br \/>\nOver 300 members of NSSP and sanitation staff of the PMC actively participated in the cleanliness drive, which was also joined by the PMC Chief Councilor and Deputy Chief Councilor.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Oct 29: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell, Rajiv Gandhi University, under &#8220;Swachhta hi Seva&#8221; campaign launched \u2018Clean and Green Campus\u2019 programme on October 28.
