{"id":72096,"date":"2019-07-11T01:57:27","date_gmt":"2019-07-10T20:27:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=72096"},"modified":"2019-07-11T01:57:27","modified_gmt":"2019-07-10T20:27:27","slug":"mass-plantation-drives-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/07\/11\/mass-plantation-drives-held\/","title":{"rendered":"Mass plantation drives held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ZIRO, Jul 10<\/strong>: A week long plantation drive was organised by the Hapoli Forest Division with the theme &#8216;Lets Green the Valley&#8217; on the occasion of the 70th Vana Mahotsav here in Lower Subansiri district recently.<br \/>\nOver 200 volunteers from the All Apatani Gaon Burah\/ Buri Association, Dutta Pyapung Conservation Club, Ngunu Ziro and Siikhe Multipurpose Cooperative Society participated in the drive which began from Siikhe Artificial Lake.<br \/>\nOver 350 saplings were planted all around the periphery of the lake.<br \/>\nAlso, 350 cherry saplings were planted for village beautification in the approach roads by volunteers from All Hija Youth Association at Hija village, All Hong Youth Association at Hong village &amp; Biodiversity Management Committee, Niitii at Hanoko.<br \/>\nRFO Tage Hanya informed that 4,500 seedlings were also distributed to various educational institutions, government offices and general public to mark the celebration.<br \/>\nIn Jairampur, staff of RK Mossang Memorial Society planted various saplings of neem, jackfruit, litchi, kadam etc alongside the Jairampur to Kharsang national highway on 3 July last to mark Van Mahotsav.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ZIRO, Jul 10: A week long plantation drive was organised by the Hapoli Forest Division with the theme &#8216;Lets Green the Valley&#8217; on the occasion of the 70th Vana Mahotsav here in Lower Subansiri district recently.
