{"id":72432,"date":"2019-07-15T01:48:19","date_gmt":"2019-07-14T20:18:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=72432"},"modified":"2019-07-15T01:48:19","modified_gmt":"2019-07-14T20:18:19","slug":"dmo-inspects-health-facilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/07\/15\/dmo-inspects-health-facilities\/","title":{"rendered":"DMO inspects health facilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Jul 14:<\/strong> Capital Complex DMO Dr Mandip Perme urged medical officers (MO) and health workers to be diligent and regular in their duties, saying that &#8220;performance of a health facility improves when its staffers are available for providing the health services.&#8221;<br \/>\nHeaded by Dr Perme, a monitoring team from the newly-created Capital Complex District Health Society on Friday visited the various health facilities (sub-centres) under its jurisdiction.<br \/>\nThe team reviewed the performances of the health facilities, and the implementation of various health programmes.<br \/>\nInteracting with the MO in charge of the Karsingsa UPHC, Dr Perme advised the MO to place the requirements of the health facility to improve the mother and child health service delivery.<br \/>\nHe also interacted with health wellness officers, ASHAs, nurses and other health officials.<br \/>\nPrince Jacob, the state programme officer of JHPIEGO, an international non-profit health organization affiliated to the Johns Hopkins University, USA, highlighted the importance of activities under the health and wellness centres (HWC).<br \/>\nHe shared the HWC checklist and advised the staffers to prepare the HWC documents and records to ensure delivery of comprehensive primary healthcare.<br \/>\nBesides the Karsingsa UPHC, the team visited the sub-centres in Borum, Nirjuli, PTC Banderdewa, Pichola and Durpang.
