{"id":73402,"date":"2019-07-24T01:47:07","date_gmt":"2019-07-23T20:17:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=73402"},"modified":"2019-07-24T01:47:07","modified_gmt":"2019-07-23T20:17:07","slug":"highway-sinks-near-yorte-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/07\/24\/highway-sinks-near-yorte-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"Highway sinks near Yorte camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PAKKE-KESSANG, Jul 23:<\/strong> A long stretch of National Highway 13 sank substantially near Yorte camp, between Pakke-Kessang and the Passa river, on Monday, leaving several vehicles stranded at both ends.<br \/>\nA temporary diversion road was cut for the movement of stranded light motor vehicles on Monday, but it was also blocked on Tuesday after heavy overnight rainfall.<br \/>\nReportedly, several heavy vehicles which were going to Seppa in East Kameng district were stranded at Pakke-Kessang.<br \/>\n&#8220;Due to continuous heavy downpour, the Shushi Infra &amp; Mining Company is unable to construct a diversion road for heavy vehicles. The road will be restored when it stops raining,&#8221; said Pakke-Kessang DC T Messar in a press release.<br \/>\nAs per information, an approximately 30-km stretch the road has sunk.<br \/>\nThe DC advised commuters to avoid driving on the sunken portion of the road after 4 pm.
