\nThe Deputy Commissioner, who chaired the District Task Force meeting on IMI at his Conference Hall here on Tuesday, gave emphasis on accurate entry of data and timely reporting
\nIsolated cases, such as unwillingness of parents to get their children immunized, should be brought to the notice of concern authorities. Misconceptions among the parents about immunization can be solved through proper counselling and creating awareness, he said and sought the help and involvement of teachers, gaon burahs and influential persons of that particular area in creating awareness.
\nThe Deputy Commissioner also called for timely disbursement of incentives or honorarium to the ASHA workers to motivate them.
\nHe also urged the MO in-charge of Medo PHC to utilize the newly provided ambulance for the service of the patients, especially pregnant women and new born babies and ensure that they get free service.
