{"id":74273,"date":"2019-08-02T00:58:47","date_gmt":"2019-08-01T19:28:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=74273"},"modified":"2019-08-02T00:58:47","modified_gmt":"2019-08-01T19:28:47","slug":"nfr-repairs-railway-line-damaged-by-flashflood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/08\/02\/nfr-repairs-railway-line-damaged-by-flashflood\/","title":{"rendered":"NFR repairs railway line damaged by flashflood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Correspondent<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>DHEMAJI, Aug 1:<\/strong> Flashflood damaged a portion of the Rangiya-Murkongselek broad gauge railway line here in Assam on Wednesday morning, which disrupted rail communication along the route.<br \/>\nThe overflowing water of the Jiyadhal river damaged the rail embankment and the approach bridge (No 693) in between Dhemaji and Bordoloni railway stations.<br \/>\nHowever, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) authority engaged men and machines to repair the damaged portion on a war footing, and restored the train service by Wednesday evening.<br \/>\n&#8220;We have repaired the damaged portion of the railway track and restored the rail service along the route,&#8221; said NFR officials.<br \/>\nThe NFR had to suspend plying of trains along the route on Wednesday.
