{"id":74351,"date":"2019-08-03T01:21:09","date_gmt":"2019-08-02T19:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=74351"},"modified":"2019-08-03T01:21:09","modified_gmt":"2019-08-02T19:51:09","slug":"dc-calls-for-conducting-survey-to-double-farmers-income","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/08\/03\/dc-calls-for-conducting-survey-to-double-farmers-income\/","title":{"rendered":"DC calls for conducting survey to double farmers&#8217; income"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>PASIGHAT, Aug 2:<\/strong> East Siang Deputy Commissioner Kinny Singh has asked the agriculture, horticulture and allied departments to conduct a &#8216;farmers&#8217; identification survey&#8217; in the district to accumulate data on their lands, productivity, etc, as part of the strategy to double the farmers&#8217; income by 2022.<br \/>\nAddressing a coordination meeting with the departments&#8217; officers here on Friday, the DC said the farmers&#8217; identification reports should be submitted to the respective circle officers within a week for uploading to the farmers&#8217; database.<br \/>\n&#8220;Plans and strategies would be finally forwarded to the government by the district administration for modernization of farming technologies, efficient management for bumper productivity, marketing and sustainability, etc,&#8221; the DC said.<br \/>\nShe also instructed the departments&#8217; officers to submit the status reports of all ongoing schemes in the district to her office.<br \/>\nThe meeting was attended by the ADCs of Pasighat, Mebo and Ruksin, BDOs, COs, and officers of the agriculture, horticulture, veterinary, fishery, and textiles &amp; handloom departments.
