The programme is being organised by the State Forest Research Institute (SFRI).<br \/>\nDuring the inaugural function, Chief Conservator of Forests Dusu Shra informed that the training will cover various aspects of forestry and allied subjects like forest genetics, botany, biodiversity, soil and water conservation, vermicomposting, etc.<br \/>\nShra said the training will be imparted by &#8220;different experts from various wings of the environment &amp; forests department, the NEIST-CSIR, etc.&#8221;<br \/>\nDivisional Forest Officer (Silviculture Division) Nani Sha, scientist RK Taj, forest geneticist Dr G Murtem and systematic botanist Dr LR Bhuyan also spoke.<br \/>\nThe students belong to universities in Uttarakhand, Dehradun, Roorkee, and other parts of the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Aug 9: Forty-nine students of BSc (forestry) from 10 different universities of the country are participating in a three-month-long training programme which began here on Friday.
