{"id":75690,"date":"2019-08-14T02:09:10","date_gmt":"2019-08-13T20:39:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=75690"},"modified":"2019-08-14T02:09:10","modified_gmt":"2019-08-13T20:39:10","slug":"orientation-prog-on-mksp-held-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/08\/14\/orientation-prog-on-mksp-held-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Orientation prog on MKSP held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>Correspondent <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>DAPORIJO, Aug 13:<\/strong> An &#8216;orientation programme on Mahila Kishan Sasaktikaran Pariyojna (MKSP)-cum-convergence meeting of the agriculture and allied departments&#8217; was conducted here in Upper Subansiri district by the Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission&#8217;s (ArSRLM) Daporijo block mission management unit (BMMU) on Monday.<br \/>\nBlock Mission Manager Kepor Mara in his address said the ArSRLM has mobilized 1088 households into SHGs and formed 136 women SHGs under the Daporijo BMMU.<br \/>\n&#8220;This has empowered hundreds of women through the institution of SHGs, capacity-building, and livelihood promotion,&#8221; he said.<br \/>\nMara urged the heads of line departments to work together for effective implementation of the programme.<br \/>\n&#8220;We all should work together as our motive is to eradicate poverty from the rural areas, which is the need of the hour,&#8221; he said.<br \/>\nLivelihood Mission block coordinator Ginbom Siga said, &#8220;The MKSP is a project to improve the status of women in the agriculture sector.&#8221; She encouraged women to practice sustainable agriculture, and highlighted the activities to be taken up under the MKSP.<br \/>\nHDO Molar Bui urged the stakeholders to work hard to ensure the programme&#8217;s success. &#8220;With the help of women SHGs, we can achieve the real goal of the agriculture and allied departments,&#8221; Bui said.<br \/>\nDFDO Taye Riamuk encouraged women to work together, and emphasized on the fishery sector for income generation, and assured to extend technical support whenever needed.<br \/>\nAmong others, BDO Gyati Pushang, Daporijo APRB BM Arun Upadyay, ADO T Rilo, CDPO Ijum Doye Bui, and KVK representative Topi Riba addressed the programme.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Correspondent DAPORIJO, Aug 13: An &#8216;orientation programme on Mahila Kishan Sasaktikaran Pariyojna (MKSP)-cum-convergence meeting of the agriculture and allied departments&#8217; was conducted here in Upper Subansiri district by the Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission&#8217;s (ArSRLM) Daporijo block mission management unit (BMMU) on Monday.
