College (DNGC) on Friday organised a one-day seminar on &#8220;Goods and Services Tax&#8221; (GST). The seminar sponsored by UGC was held under the guidance of assistant professors Likha Eichir and Pate Jumshi.<br \/>\nAssociate Professor of the Dept of Commerce, SK Sharma delivered the keynote address. This was followed by a presentation of papers and models by the five groups of students.<br \/>\nThe students presented papers on the topics: One Nation, One Tax, GST: Impact on FMCG Sector, GST and its essentials, GST: Its impact on Indian Economy and GST Reform: Role Model of the World.<br \/>\nOn the occasion the resource person, Dr. M Bhattacharjee, HoD Geography, spoke about &#8220;Green Sense Tax&#8221; which was followed by a talk on the &#8220;Importance of Seminar and Workshop&#8221; by Dr. Atege Linggi Asstt.
