{"id":79250,"date":"2019-09-18T02:12:36","date_gmt":"2019-09-17T20:42:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=79250"},"modified":"2019-09-18T02:12:36","modified_gmt":"2019-09-17T20:42:36","slug":"sec-urged-to-revoke-names-of-illegally-transferred-voters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/09\/18\/sec-urged-to-revoke-names-of-illegally-transferred-voters\/","title":{"rendered":"SEC urged to revoke names of &#8216;illegally transferred&#8217; voters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Sep 17:<\/strong> Claiming that the names of 13 electors have been illegally transferred to the Toba village\/gram panchayat segment from the Nyolo-1 GP segment through forged signatures and thumb impressions and without the electors&#8217; consent, the Nyolo, Toba Gram Panchayat Segment Anti-Corruption Peoples&#8217; Forum has requested the state election commission (SEC) to revoke the illegal inclusions within a week and initiate legal action against the culprit(s) involved.<br \/>\nIn a representation to the SEC, the forum on Tuesday said the act of transferring the voters&#8217; names was in total violation of the Arunachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Act, 1997.<br \/>\nIt claimed that six additional voters were illegally included in the voters&#8217; list using fake birth certificates and election identity cards.
