{"id":79676,"date":"2019-09-23T00:50:12","date_gmt":"2019-09-22T19:20:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=79676"},"modified":"2019-09-23T00:50:12","modified_gmt":"2019-09-22T19:20:12","slug":"capacity-building-prog-for-shgs-held-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/09\/23\/capacity-building-prog-for-shgs-held-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Capacity building prog for SHGs held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NAMSAI, Sep 22:<\/strong> Representatives of several SHGs participated in a capacity building training programme organised here by the NABARD on Sunday.<br \/>\nNABARD District Development Manager Kamal Roy briefed the participants on the SHG-bank linkage programme and the importance of voluntary savings, cash credit system\/term loan, and &#8220;changing the profile of matured SHGs and their financial requirements.&#8221;<br \/>\nHe also explained the NABARD&#8217;s micro enterprise development programme, besides digital banking, modes of cashless banking, the government&#8217;s flagship programmes, etc.<br \/>\nNamsai KVK Head Dr Manish Kanwat advised the SHGs to &#8220;start their activities in a professional manner through community involvement.&#8221; He urged the Arunachal Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) and the SHGs to be members of the agri-business incubation programme, under which farmers and budding entrepreneurs may receive technical support such as free training, national level exposure, branding, marketing, packaging, etc, from the ICAR NEH region.<br \/>\nHe asked them to invest their resources &#8220;in profit-oriented farming rather than input intensive farming,&#8221; and gave assurance that the KVK would always extend support to the uplifting and empowerment of the tribal women in the district and the state.<br \/>\nThe programme was organized in collaboration with the ArSRLM.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NAMSAI, Sep 22: Representatives of several SHGs participated in a capacity building training programme organised here by the NABARD on Sunday.
