{"id":79847,"date":"2019-09-25T01:10:13","date_gmt":"2019-09-24T19:40:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=79847"},"modified":"2019-09-25T01:10:13","modified_gmt":"2019-09-24T19:40:13","slug":"trg-on-disability-intervention-underway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/09\/25\/trg-on-disability-intervention-underway\/","title":{"rendered":"Trg on disability intervention underway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>CHANGLANG, Sep 24:<\/strong> Around 300 ASHAs, ANMs, supervisors, SSA teachers and anganwadi workers are participating in a three-day training programme on &#8216;Early identification and rehabilitation for disability intervention and identification and assessment camp for persons with intellectual disabilities&#8217;, which got underway here on Tuesday.<br \/>\nThe programme, which is being organised by Secunderabad (Telangana)-based National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID), was inaugurated by Changlang DC RK Sharma.<br \/>\nAt least 60 divyangjans were assessed and certified by a medical board comprising psychologists from the NIEPID, psychiatrist Dr Ibom Bagra, and Dr Tangjang on the first day.<br \/>\nAmong others, ICDS DD Liknem Limhun Singpho and DMO Dr CL Manchey attended the inaugural function.<br \/>\nThe programme will conclude on 26 September in Miao.
