It was dark and to avoid the unruly traffic I walked on the side of the road but to my horror accident found me! It came in form of an uncovered cement drain.<br \/>\nI fell straight into the drain, it must have been around four feet deep and I was drenched in the dirt and grime of the drain water.<br \/>\nLuckily, I managed to get out of it but was physically hurt with major scratches which affected me for atleast three days. One can only imagine the anger and humiliation I felt.<br \/>\nNow, my complaint is not that I fell into the drain but why would the authorities allow the drain to be kept open, Ganga market junction being the busiest in the capital? What if a child or an elderly person felt into the drain and was seriously injured?
