The programme was sponsored by National Fisheries Development Board.<br \/>\nIn his inaugural address, District Fishery Development Officer, Taye Riamuk requested the farmers to take full advantage of training and use the knowledge gained from the training in their fields activities.<br \/>\nNyape Bam, in-charge Senior Scientist &amp; Head highlighted the functions and activities of the Kendra.<br \/>\nCourse Director of the training program, Dipjyoti Bora gave various trainings on composite fish culture and different models of integrated fish farming.<br \/>\nResource persons from fisheries department also delivered lectures on importance of integrated fish farming and quality fish seed release etc. on the occasion.<br \/>\nA field visit cum demonstration programme as part of the programme was also organised at Riddi village.<br \/>\nAltogether 50 participants of different villages took part in the training programme.
