{"id":80325,"date":"2019-10-01T01:23:00","date_gmt":"2019-09-30T19:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=80325"},"modified":"2019-10-01T01:23:00","modified_gmt":"2019-09-30T19:53:00","slug":"reading-promotion-campaign-held-at-rural-schools","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/10\/01\/reading-promotion-campaign-held-at-rural-schools\/","title":{"rendered":"Reading promotion campaign held at rural schools"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ANJAW, Sep 30:<\/strong> A series of events were conducted at government upper primary schools of Tafraliang, Chipru, QuibangYatong and the KGBV Supliang under Anjaw district as a part of a reading promotion campaign jointly organized by the department of education and Lohit Youth Library Network from Sept 25 to 28 last.<br \/>\nThe campaign sessions were conducted by activists of the Lohit Youth Library Network and teacher-trainees at the DIET, Khupa and the Coordinator, Lohit Youth Libraries.<br \/>\nA lecture-cum demonstration for DIET trainees on &#8216;Techniques of reading effectively to young people&#8217; was also conducted.<br \/>\nA book exhibition of reader-friendly books for the students and teachers was also organised at the DIET, Khupa by the Bamboosa Library, Tezu.<br \/>\nThe education department also presented library books to each of the schools to continue the follow-up.<br \/>\nWhile congratulating the students and the library volunteers for their enthusiastic participation in the campaign, Anjaw DDSE P Tayeng, hoped that the schools would continue to practise the new inputs learnt during the sessions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANJAW, Sep 30: A series of events were conducted at government upper primary schools of Tafraliang, Chipru, QuibangYatong and the KGBV Supliang under Anjaw district as a part of a reading promotion campaign jointly organized by the department of education and Lohit Youth Library Network from Sept 25 to 28 last.
