{"id":80982,"date":"2019-10-09T01:12:50","date_gmt":"2019-10-08T19:42:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=80982"},"modified":"2019-10-09T01:12:50","modified_gmt":"2019-10-08T19:42:50","slug":"3-arrested-for-vandalism-at-festival-pandal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/10\/09\/3-arrested-for-vandalism-at-festival-pandal\/","title":{"rendered":"3 arrested for vandalism at festival pandal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>DOIMUKH, Oct 8:<\/strong> Three men have been arrested for vandalizing three idols at a Durga Puja pandal here on Sunday.<br \/>\nAccording to the Papum Pare SP, the police station here received a complaint in the morning of 6 October that three idols had been vandalized at around midnight at one of the pandals.<br \/>\n&#8220;An FIR (u\/s 295\/448\/427\/34 IPC) was registered, statements were taken, and investigation initiated,&#8221; the SP said, adding that the police later arrested the three men, all between the ages of 25 and 30 years.<br \/>\nThe SP said the trio was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident and had been looking for someone they had a personal enmity with in the market area.<br \/>\n&#8220;They entered the pandal and got into an altercation with the guard and vandalized the idols. They escaped in a Tata Tiago car. The police were able to identify the car, and were able to apprehend the trio.
