{"id":81083,"date":"2019-10-10T00:58:14","date_gmt":"2019-10-09T19:28:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=81083"},"modified":"2019-10-10T00:58:14","modified_gmt":"2019-10-09T19:28:14","slug":"contractors-assn-concerned-over-merger-of-neepco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/10\/10\/contractors-assn-concerned-over-merger-of-neepco\/","title":{"rendered":"Contractor&#8217;s assn concerned over merger of NEEPCO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Oct 9:<\/strong> Expressing concern over the recent decision of the Government of India regarding merger and privatization of the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), the Hoj-Yazali Ranganadi Project Affected Contractor&#8217;s Association (HYRPACA) has appealed to all the MPs, political parties, public leaders, intellectuals, NGOs and students&#8217; bodies to raise voice against the move.<br \/>\nIn a release on Wednesday, the association strongly requested the concerned MLAs of Sagalee and Yachuli to press hard &#8220;to convince and convey the sentiments of the local people of their areas to the state&#8217;s chief minister for reconsideration of decision taken by the GoI.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;The NEEPCO provides 95 percent of its employment and contract work opportunities to the people of North East and to the project-affected families.
