{"id":8142,"date":"2017-11-11T00:49:29","date_gmt":"2017-11-10T19:19:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=8142"},"modified":"2017-11-11T00:49:29","modified_gmt":"2017-11-10T19:19:29","slug":"fdc-of-drugs-for-tb-treatment-launched-in-aalo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2017\/11\/11\/fdc-of-drugs-for-tb-treatment-launched-in-aalo\/","title":{"rendered":"FDC of drugs for TB treatment launched in Aalo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>AALO, Nov 10:<\/strong> Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan launched the Fixed Dose Combination (FDC) Daily Regimen for tuberculosis (TB) treatment at District TB Centre, Aalo on November 9.<br \/>\nDistrict TB Officer Dr. Karmar Dirchi, Medical Superintendent Dr. Linya Lollen and Principal of Nursing School, Aalo were present on the occasion.<br \/>\nThe new daily drugs regimen to treat TB patients was launched at the Tuberculosis Hospital, Pasighat by the Additional Commissioner Tatdo Borang.<br \/>\nBorang said the government is committed to provide affordable and quality healthcare but keeping TB at bay is everyone&#8217;s responsibility and every TB patient should be able to access treatment without fear of stigma or unwarranted retrenchment.<br \/>\nDTO (TB) Dr. Y Perme highlighted the several notable steps taken by the department in case finding, formulating standards of care, implementation of RNTCP, surveillance tools and counseling for TB patients, etc.<br \/>\nFree medicines were distributed to the patients.<br \/>\nDMO Dr. M. Perme, Dr. Y. Perme and DDSE J. Yirang were present on the occasion.
