{"id":83132,"date":"2019-10-29T01:54:56","date_gmt":"2019-10-28T20:24:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=83132"},"modified":"2019-10-29T01:54:56","modified_gmt":"2019-10-28T20:24:56","slug":"min-releases-pmmvy-iec-materials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/10\/29\/min-releases-pmmvy-iec-materials\/","title":{"rendered":"Min releases PMMVY IEC materials"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Oct 28:<\/strong> Women &amp; Child Development (WCD) Minister Alo Libang on Monday released information education &amp; communication (IEC) materials under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) at his office here.<br \/>\nThe PMMVY is a conditional maternity programme of the state&#8217;s WCD ministry, under which Rs 5,000 is given to a first-time mother in three installments, subject to fulfillment of terms and conditions. The amount is transferred to the beneficiary&#8217;s account through the DBT mode, using a web-based system called the PMMVY common application software.<br \/>\nSpeaking on the occasion, WCD Director TP Loyi said the IEC materials have been designed &#8220;with a local touch, so that target beneficiaries can easily identify the scheme and avail it.&#8221;<br \/>\nShe said the IEC materials include a video and a radio jingle &#8220;in simple language that can be understood by everyone in the state.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe minister commended the department&#8217;s effort to customize the IEC materials for the state.
