{"id":83713,"date":"2019-11-03T02:50:32","date_gmt":"2019-11-02T21:20:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=83713"},"modified":"2019-11-03T02:50:32","modified_gmt":"2019-11-02T21:20:32","slug":"farmers-taken-on-exposure-visit-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/11\/03\/farmers-taken-on-exposure-visit-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Farmers taken on exposure visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NAMSAI, Nov 2:<\/strong> Sixty farmers benefitted from a two-day &#8216;exposure field visit and training&#8217; programme organised by the Namsai KVK from 1-2 November, under the Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana.<br \/>\nOn the first day, the KVK scientists took the farmers to Mahadevpur-III, Nampong, and Jona 1 villages, where rabi crops like peas, potatoes and toria are being grown in the farmers&#8217; fields. The scientists advised the trainees to adopt scientific cultivation for sustainable farming.<br \/>\nOn the second day, the farmers participated in a training programme in Mahadevpur-II, where agriculture scientist Dr Debasis Sasmal suggested to them to use organic fertilizers in place of chemical fertilizers, while Bidyapati Ngangom educated them on the different types of bio-fertilizers that can be used for organic farming.<br \/>\nMadhumita Sonowal Bora spoke on different insects and diseases that infest different crops, and ways to control them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NAMSAI, Nov 2: Sixty farmers benefitted from a two-day &#8216;exposure field visit and training&#8217; programme organised by the Namsai KVK from 1-2 November, under the Paramparagat Krishi Vikas Yojana.
