He is survived by his wife, three sons and a daughter.<br \/>\nBorn in 1954, Dai had joined service as a teacher in 1971, and had retired in 2014.<br \/>\nHe had been conferred the State Teacher Award in 1998 for his outstanding contributions in the field of education, and had been given the National Teacher Award in 2007.<br \/>\nLocal MLA Kaling Moyong in a condolence message expressed shock over Dai&#8217;s demise.<br \/>\n&#8220;I am extremely shocked to hear about the loss of our favourite teacher. I will forever remember his contributions and guidance,&#8221; said Moyong, and extend condolences to the bereaved family.
