Mishra has extended greetings to the children of the state on the occasion of Children&#8217;s Day, which commemorates the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru.<br \/>\nThe Governor, in his message said, &#8216;today&#8217;s children are the hope to keep the torch of the national aspirations flashing.<br \/>\nThis day is also a reminder to every citizen, every parent and guardian of their inalienable obligation to provide best health and education opportunities for their children. Let us, as a society, resolve today to offer equal opportunity to each and every child to excel in life&#8217;.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, Chief Minister Pema Khandu in his message has called for abolition of child labour.<br \/>\n&#8216;On this special day dedicated to our children, let&#8217;s pledge that we will not curtail the rights every child deserves and provide them an atmosphere where they can grow at their free will. Let&#8217;s handhold them but not dictate and once and for all let&#8217;s pledge to abolish child labour,&#8217; Pema said.
