The decision was taken during a recent meeting of the organisation here.<br \/>\nThe DWS also said it would preserve and protect the unique natural stone, known as &#8216;Lingpwnv&#8217;, which it said &#8220;symbolizes our ancestors&#8217; identity.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe members of the organisation will contribute funds for constructing a protection wall around the monument, which is located in Dupit village.<br \/>\nThey further said they would not accept offers or gifts in any form from any of the chief guests during future programmes of the DWS.<br \/>\nTaliha MLA Nyato Rigia and DWS patron Nyai Rigia also attended the meeting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[ Karda Natam ] DUCHOK, Nov 22: The Dukam Welfare Society (DWS) has said it has resolved to protect the flora and fauna of its area in Upper Subansiri district.
