{"id":85798,"date":"2019-11-25T01:41:36","date_gmt":"2019-11-24T20:11:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=85798"},"modified":"2019-11-25T01:41:36","modified_gmt":"2019-11-24T20:11:36","slug":"free-eye-camp-organised","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/11\/25\/free-eye-camp-organised\/","title":{"rendered":"Free eye camp organised"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>LONGDING, Nov 24:<\/strong> Cataracts were detected in 26 out of 367 patients during a free eye screening camp organized by the Arunachal Vikas Parishad (AVP) at the CHC here on Sunday.<br \/>\n&#8220;All the patients detected with cataract will be taken to Dibrugarh (Assam) for surgery,&#8221; eye specialist from Dibrugarh, Dr RB Mishra, who attended the camp, said.<br \/>\nLocal MLA Tanpho Wangnaw, who inaugurated the camp, hailed the AVP &#8220;for rendering humane service to the people of Arunachal,&#8221; and expressed hope that the camp would immensely benefit the people of the district.<br \/>\nEarlier this month, the AVP had conducted free eye camps at Deomali and Khonsa, in Tirap district.<br \/>\nAmong others, Longding DMO Dr N Ngemu and district BJP president Pankhu Wangsu attended the inaugural function.
