{"id":87655,"date":"2019-12-13T01:51:57","date_gmt":"2019-12-12T20:21:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=87655"},"modified":"2019-12-13T01:51:57","modified_gmt":"2019-12-12T20:21:57","slug":"banks-asked-to-conduct-finl-literacy-camps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/12\/13\/banks-asked-to-conduct-finl-literacy-camps\/","title":{"rendered":"Banks asked to conduct fin&#8217;l literacy camps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>TAWANG, Dec 12:<\/strong> Tawang DC Sang Phuntsok on Thursday asked the banks in the district to conduct &#8220;regular financial literacy campaigns and facilitate the villagers with banking services during the Sarkar Aapke Dwar camps organized by the administration.&#8221;<br \/>\nHe said this during a meeting of the district consultative committee and the district-level security committee of the lead bank here.<br \/>\nLocal MLA Tsering Tashi and SP B Kamduk, besides administrative officer, HoDs, and branch managers of all the banks in Tawang attended the meeting.<br \/>\nLead Bank Manager B Basumatary presented a review of the credit flow of the quarter ended 30 September, 2019, and &#8220;formation of the special subcommittee for CD ratio.&#8221;<br \/>\nDiscussions on bank-wise achievements in priority sector loans, progress reports on recovery of loans, the performance of the banks under the Stand-Up India scheme, the PMEGP, the PMMY, the KVIC and the NULM were also held.<br \/>\nLater, a special sub-committee was formed under the chairmanship of the Tawang ADC, based on the instruction of the Reserve Bank of India and the Centre&#8217;s instruction to increase the CD ratio of the banks in Tawang.
