Anjaw, Lohit, East Siang, Lower Dibang Valley and Namsai have had to pull out of the event due to the prevailing situation in Assam.<br \/>\nTaku highlighted the importance of karate as a sport in bringing discipline in life, and assured to offer his support to such events in the future.<br \/>\nArunachal Pradesh Building &amp; Other Construction Workers&#8217; Welfare Board Chairman Jalley Sonam and Arunachal Karate Do Association working president Bulang Marik also spoke.<br \/>\nWhile the kata competitions were conducted on the first day, the kumite will be conducted from Tuesday.<br \/>\nThe championship is being conducted by the East Kameng Karate Association, in association with the East Kameng Social Welfare &amp; Cultural Organization.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SEPPA, Dec 16: Local MLA Tapuk Taku inaugurated the 24th State Level Cadet, Junior and U-21 Karate Championship here in East Kameng district on Monday.
