{"id":89732,"date":"2020-01-07T01:25:26","date_gmt":"2020-01-06T19:55:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=89732"},"modified":"2020-01-07T01:25:26","modified_gmt":"2020-01-06T19:55:26","slug":"horticulture-officers-undergoing-in-service-trg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/01\/07\/horticulture-officers-undergoing-in-service-trg\/","title":{"rendered":"Horticulture officers undergoing in-service trg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PASIGHAT, Jan 6:<\/strong> The first batch of in-service horticulture officers are undergoing a six-month state-level in-service training which began at the 2 Mile training camp here in East Siang district on Monday.<br \/>\nEAC Dakto Riba, who inaugurated the training, said that &#8220;an in-service training is a professional training or staff development effort where professionals are trained and discuss their work methods and cases with others in their peer group to improve skills and responsibilities.&#8221;<br \/>\nHe described such training programmes as &#8220;an opportunity for the in-service horticulture officers to learn new approaches and use modern technology and methods of cultivation.&#8221;<br \/>\nRiba advised the trainees to be well-prepared before implementing the knowledge they gain in their respective areas and fields &#8220;to boost the economy of the local growers and the state as a whole.&#8221;<br \/>\nEarlier, CHF Dean Dr BN Hazarika said &#8220;such efforts involve learning through the assistance and supervision of experienced and senior officers to impart vast and useful knowledge and skills that are directly applicable to the trainees&#8217; workplace.<br \/>\n&#8220;Such training has benefits in that it is customized and encompasses real work experiences,&#8221; he added.<br \/>\nHDO Oter Gao informed that 25 horticulture officers from across the state will be trained in the first batch.
