{"id":90912,"date":"2020-01-20T01:04:56","date_gmt":"2020-01-19T19:34:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=90912"},"modified":"2020-01-20T01:04:56","modified_gmt":"2020-01-19T19:34:56","slug":"legal-awareness-prog-held-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/01\/20\/legal-awareness-prog-held-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Legal awareness prog held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>RAGA, Jan 19: T<\/strong>he team of the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) reached here in Kamle district on Sunday, the third day of its legal awareness campaign.<br \/>\nAPSCW Chairperson Radhilu Chai Techi informed about the various recommendations forwarded by the commission to the state government, among them being providing soft loans to women entrepreneurs, 33 percent job reservation for women, modifying customary laws that are detrimental to women, establishing family courts, etc.<br \/>\nVarious resource persons made PowerPoint presentations on topics pertaining to uplift of women.<br \/>\nAPSCW member Techi Hunmai, Kamle SP John Pada, APSCW legal advisor Karmu Chotten, and APSCW member Hoksum Ori also spoke.<br \/>\nDistrict Planning Officer Doyak Sangyo highlighted the schemes initiated by the government for women, and DMO Dr Nani Rika spoke on the effects of drug abuse and alcoholism on the society.<br \/>\nAmong others, ADC C Chukhu, administrative officers, and members of various NGOs and SHGs attended the programme.
