{"id":9132,"date":"2017-11-19T02:05:36","date_gmt":"2017-11-18T20:35:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=9132"},"modified":"2017-11-19T02:05:36","modified_gmt":"2017-11-18T20:35:36","slug":"17-girl-students-critically-injured-in-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2017\/11\/19\/17-girl-students-critically-injured-in-accident\/","title":{"rendered":"17 girl students critically injured in accident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PALIN, Nov 18:<\/strong> Seventeen students of Government Higher Secondary School, Palin were critically injured, when a vehicle they were travelling in, met with an accident near Yangte on Friday afternoon.<br \/>\nThe accident occurred, when the vehicle carrying 30 school children was returning from Yangte to Palin after conducting a special Outreach Camp, lost control during a steep climb.<br \/>\nAll the 17 critically injured were reportedly female students.<br \/>\nNSS Programme Officer Ashok Kr Pathak also suffered critical injuries.<br \/>\nFortunately, there were no reports of any casualty. All the injured were rushed to the 50-Bed Hospital at Jorung (Palin) and given first-aid.<br \/>\nAs per report of the team of doctors, condition of most injured students were stated to be stable and the critically injured have been kept under close medical observation.<br \/>\nMajority of the school children studying in class IX and class X have suffered fractures, chest and head injuries.<br \/>\nThe Deputy Commissioner and DMO also visited the injured students and extended all possible help.
