{"id":91616,"date":"2020-01-28T02:55:23","date_gmt":"2020-01-27T21:25:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=91616"},"modified":"2020-01-28T02:55:23","modified_gmt":"2020-01-27T21:25:23","slug":"mishmi-idol-contest-underway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/01\/28\/mishmi-idol-contest-underway\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Mishmi Idol&#8217; contest underway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>[ Karyir Riba ]<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>ROING, Jan 27:<\/strong> Twenty singers out of a total of 49 made it to the next round of the &#8216;Mishmi Idol&#8217; contest during the mega audition held at Tezu, in Lohit district, on Monday.<br \/>\nThey were selected by judges Leena Tamai, Dr Sokhep Kri and Anyiyu Mena, who are also established singers of the Mishmi community.<br \/>\n&#8216;Mishmi Idol&#8217; is a singing competition for people belonging to the Mishmi community (Idu Mishmi, Miju Mishmi and Digaru Mishmi). The competition is aimed at identifying the singing talents of the community.<br \/>\nApart from the prize money, the top three &#8216;Mishmi idols&#8217; will get a direct entry to the mega auditions of the &#8216;Arunachal Idol&#8217; contest, secretary of the talent hunt, Ibi Mepo, informed.<br \/>\nEarlier, the 49 contestants had been shortlisted from four zonal auditions which had been held at Roing (Lower Dibang Valley), Anini (Dibang Valley), Tezu (Lohit) and Hayuliang (Anjaw).<br \/>\nThe quarterfinals will be held during the Reh celebration here in Lower Dibang Valley on 1 February.<br \/>\nThe event is being organised with the help of community funding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[ Karyir Riba ] ROING, Jan 27: Twenty singers out of a total of 49 made it to the next round of the &#8216;Mishmi Idol&#8217; contest during the mega audition held at Tezu, in Lohit district, on Monday.
