Similar training had earlier been imparted to the teachers of Jemithang-Duitongkhar block and Lungla block in January and February, respectively.<br \/>\nAddressing the participants, DDSE Hridhar Phuntso said that &#8220;in order to bring quality education, we as teachers should be sincere and responsible towards our duty, but at the same time we need support from parents and society.&#8221;<br \/>\nStressing on being committed to one&#8217;s duty, he said &#8220;only bookish knowledge is not enough to make a better nation; we have to give importance on moral education too.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe DDSE also underscored the need to &#8220;fill the gap of relation between parents, teachers and students.&#8221;<br \/>\nResource person B Tiwari informed the teachers about &#8220;the importance, aims and objectives of the training.&#8221; (DIPRO)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TAWANG, Feb 28: A five-day in-service training programme for the teachers of Tawang block got underway at the government town secondary school here on Friday.
