{"id":96153,"date":"2020-03-12T02:28:46","date_gmt":"2020-03-11T20:58:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=96153"},"modified":"2020-03-12T02:28:46","modified_gmt":"2020-03-11T20:58:46","slug":"former-pi-karbak-passes-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/03\/12\/former-pi-karbak-passes-away\/","title":{"rendered":"Former PI Karbak passes away"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NAHARLAGUN, Mar 11:<\/strong> Renowned philanthropist and former political interpreter Yommar Karbak of West Siang district passed away on Wednesday morning at his residence in Lekhi village here after a prolonged illness.<br \/>\nBorn in 1940 at Karbak Dubi village under Kamba circle of West Siang district, late Yommar had migrated to the Capital Complex in the early 1970s.<br \/>\nHe served the society in distinct capacities, including a political interpreter in Aalo from 1964 to 1966. He was one of pioneer tribal contractors, and instrumental in construction of the Doimukh-Sagalee road.
