{"id":96249,"date":"2020-03-13T03:04:05","date_gmt":"2020-03-12T21:34:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=96249"},"modified":"2020-03-13T03:04:05","modified_gmt":"2020-03-12T21:34:05","slug":"hospitality-training-concludes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/03\/13\/hospitality-training-concludes\/","title":{"rendered":"Hospitality training concludes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Mar 12:<\/strong> The &#8216;three-month 12th batch residential training in hospitality&#8217; conducted by the Don Bosco Youth Centre (DBYC) concluded here on Thursday.<br \/>\nThe DBYC informed in a release that all 22 successful trainees have found placements at four-star and five-star category resorts and hotels in Kerala.<br \/>\nAddressing the valedictory function, IPS officer Kime Aya termed it a matter of great joy that the DBYC has been conducting such programmes for the youths.<br \/>\nStating that getting a degree is not enough in today&#8217;s society, he urged the state&#8217;s youths to acquire skills, and exhorted the trainees to &#8220;support each other while on placement and set examples of high service standards which will bring laurels to the state.&#8221;<br \/>\nDBYC director, Fr Cyriac, advised the trainees to &#8220;keep in touch with DBYC and the trainers and take time out to join the periodic post-placement evaluations DBYC conducts on a regular basis.&#8221;<br \/>\nHe also asked them not to miss &#8220;the annual evaluation-cum-training, which is a key post-placement support for the trainees.&#8221;<br \/>\nHe informed that &#8220;the trainees will take placement in four-star and five-star category resorts and hotels in Kerala in a month or so,&#8221; as their travel to Kerala has been postponed due to the spread of the novel coronavirus.<br \/>\nFr Cyriac said the trainees will initially work in front office management, housekeeping, and food &amp; beverage service as on-job trainees for six months, and, following other formalities, be absorbed as temporary employees for six months, prior to being promoted as regular employees.<br \/>\nAya gave away the certificates to the trainees.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Mar 12: The &#8216;three-month 12th batch residential training in hospitality&#8217; conducted by the Don Bosco Youth Centre (DBYC) concluded here on Thursday.
