{"id":96251,"date":"2020-03-13T03:05:05","date_gmt":"2020-03-12T21:35:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=96251"},"modified":"2020-03-13T03:05:05","modified_gmt":"2020-03-12T21:35:05","slug":"iocl-seeks-land-for-setting-up-lpg-bottling-plant-retail-outlets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2020\/03\/13\/iocl-seeks-land-for-setting-up-lpg-bottling-plant-retail-outlets\/","title":{"rendered":"IOCL seeks land for setting up LPG bottling plant, retail outlets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Mar 12:<\/strong> The chief general manager of the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd&#8217;s (IOCL) Assam division, G Ramesh, along with a team of officers, called on Chief Minister Pema Khandu here on Thursday to request him to provide land to set up an LPG bottling plant in lieu of the existing plant in Kimin.<br \/>\nThe team informed that the bottling plant in Kimin &#8220;has safety issues, and there is limited scope for expansion due to limited land availability.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe company also requested for land for setting up &#8220;large format retail outlets with high tankage capacity for western and eastern sectors of Arunachal,&#8221; besides seeking appointment of a nodal officer from the Arunachal government for CSR activities of the IOCL in the state.<br \/>\nThe CM assured the team of all support in &#8220;speedy installation of these plants.&#8221;<br \/>\nHe said setting up an LPG plant and retail outlets in Arunachal would keep the supply of the essential item intact even during prolonged blockades in Assam due to bandhs, agitations or violence.
