Fuel trucks and other vehicles carrying essential commodities were allowed to proceed towards Pasighat only after verification of permits and other relevant papers.<br \/>\nNo untoward incident had been reported till the filing of this report.<br \/>\nThe local administration clamped the curfew because of the people disobeying the nationwide lockdown.<br \/>\nSince Ruksin shares boundary with Assam&#8217;s Dhemaji district, the curfew is also intended to prevent movement of people across the interstate boundary amid reports of several Covid-19 positive cases being detected in the neighboring state.<br \/>\nPolice teams and executive magistrates have been deployed to maintain law and order in all three administrative circles of Ruksin, Bilat and Sille-Oyan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Correspondent RUKSIN, Apr 4: People stayed indoors and all vehicles, except those transporting essential commodities, were off the road on the first day of the 48-hour curfew here in East Siang district on Saturday.
